She loves political humor/satire (John Oliver is life), music (Walk the Moon, Chvrches, Lana Del Rey, any indie pop basically), cooking/baking, and Game of Thrones (why is April so far away?). She has also been known to have dance parties with my roommate/better half, Nisha. She is so excited to be back with the coolest kids on campus (NUSTARS obviously) and cannot wait for some high-quality parachute folding and discussions about nozzles.
Carter Robinson is a rising senior studying Mechanical Engineering and pursuing the Segal Design Certificate. When he is not playing with rockets or working in the machine shop, he can be found dressing up as a Viking and celebrating his love for the state of Minnesota.
Katie is a sophomore studying mechanical engineering. She was born in New Jersey, but is looking to explore the world. Her interests are deeply rooted in aerospace, farming, and interior design. When she finishes university, she hopes to move to the middle East, where she thinks her rocket knowledge will be best utilized.
Rob Sanders is a sophomore majoring in mechanical engineering. Outside of NUSTARS, Rob is a Project Wildcat counselor, and the professional development lead of Engineers Without Borders. Rob enjoys long walks on the beach and candle-lit dinners.
Wesley is a sophomore majoring in computer science. He was born and raised in Chicago. If you know him well enough, you'll be most annoyed by his incessant quoting, and misquoting, of Drake lyrics. He ran track and cross country in high school, where he holds the school records for the mile and the 5k. Currently, he is an RA in Elder and is the Vice-President of fundraising for Delta Sigma Pi.
Matt Nicholson is a sophomore studying Computer Science and Mathematical Methods in the Social Sciences. He has always been interested in space exploration and he is excited to make impact as part of the NSET. The only thing he loves more than high altitude ballooning is his PM, Wesley. In his free time, Matt loves cheering on his favorite basketball team, the Chicago Sky.

Newlin is in his 4th of 5 years at Northwestern, majoring in mechanical engineering, physics, and integrated science. Joining NUSTARS as a freshman, he participated in the Microgravity Team's biology experiment onboard NASA's "Weightless Wonder." Upon NASA's cancelation of their Reduced Gravity Flight Program, he formed the new NASA RASC-AL engineering design team to continue NUSTARS' research involvement. Most recently, Newlin received a NASA summer grant to study and simulate dynamical production of black hole binaries in star clusters.
Arturas is a sophomore from Nashville, Tennesee. He is studying Mechanical Engineering with hopes of entering the aerospace industry. In his spare time he enjoys cooking, running, and carpentry.
